X Factor Judges Demand More Money - Dannii Minogue, Sharon Osbourne & Louis Walsh Greedy?

The X Factor Judges are at it again, trying to upstage the acts as usual, and this time, surprise surprise, it’s over money. For once Simon Cowell isn’t actually involved, as he’s sorted. He’s currently in the middle of a three year contract with ITV which sees him get paid £20 million. Nice work if you can get it.
The rest of the vultures though, Dannii Minogue, Sharon Osbourne & Louis Walsh, are after more money because they’ve been asked to work an extra day a week during the next series. Yes, that means 2 days a week instead of one… ah diddums.
Basically, because of the unexpected success of the BBC1 show, Strictly Come Dancing, the next series of The X Factor will run over two days a week instead of one, with the results show being moved from Saturday night to Sunday.
According to The Sun newspaper, Sharon Osbourne is already on £1.5 million per series, but that’s clearly not enough to get her out of bed and driven to a warm studio on a Sunday night.
Louis Walsh is on roughly £800,000 a series, but wants more money to leave his sumptuous mansion and sit there looking smug for one extra day a week.
Dannii Minogue, who has less talent in her whole body than I have in my little finger, is already paid £500,000 a series, yet wants more cash to sit there, look pretty (a matter of opinion) and just agree with Simon.
The judges are already too big for their boots, and almost ruined the last series by making it about them rather than the talented contestants on stage, so the last thing ITV should do is pay them more money.
The decision to move the results to Sunday is a terrible one, and to me just stinks of trying to make money. Instead of having 2 hours to vote, people are going to have 24 hours, which means more moolah for the programme makers.
I think it’s time to let the series die, as apart from Leona Lewis, the show hasn’t really given us much anyway.
