Soccer AM - Pearl Diving
This isn’t brand new but it’s so good, and I’ve only just found it on YouTube so thought I’d post. The clip shows Pearl Heanen, an old lady from Australia who started diving once she hit OAP status and does it in a really funny way.
This was originally shown on a programme called ‘Transworld Sports’ but was brought to the masses, and my attention by the always brilliant ‘Soccer AM‘ about a year ago.
I can never watch this without laughing, but I don’t really know why. There’s just something about the way the woman more falls in to the water, rather than dives. And when she does the full back flip, it has me in fits of laughter.
Soccer AM is on Sky Sports every Saturday between 9am and 12pm, and is 3 hours of the funniest TV you’re ever likely to watch. The main presenters are Tim Lovejoy and Helen Chamberlain, and they have celebrity and sports guests on throughout the show. You gotta give it to the old girl she’s giving it a go. I think I’d rather spent retirement falling into swimming pools then wetting myself in chairs ;0)
As for Soccer AM, ooh, it hurts my brain, make it stop, it hurts my brain…

Lol, me too! Good on her, it’s a shame she seems to just fall in the water, rather than actually dive, but I give her credit
