Prince Harry Serving In Afghanistan - 3rd In Line To British Throne Fighting Taleban On Secret Mission

Almost a year to the day that there was speculation that Prince Harry would be going to Iraq to fight with his A Squadron of The Blues and Royals, part of the Household Cavalry Regiment, it has emerged that Charles and Diana’s son has been fighting in Afghanistan since before Christmas.
He is reported to have been working in Helmand province of the war torn country, as an Air Controller, responsible for covering front line troops. It has also been confirmed that he has been personally involved in clashes with the Taleban.
He is currently two and a half months in to a four month deployment, although now that the news is out, army chiefs have a tough decision to see if they can risk him staying out there, or whether he should be brought back prematurely.
Apparently, Harry is acting, and being treated as a normal soldier, with the same risk of getting killed in action as all of his fellow combatants. But now, the risk may be too great as he is obviously going to be high profile target for his enemies, and terrorist guerillas too.
There was a news embargo on the mission, but after the Drudge Report printed details of it on the Internet, that has been lifted.
The last member of the Royal Family before Harry to serve in a war zone was Prince Andrew, who was sent to the Falklands in 1982 as a Royal Navy helicopter pilot.
I think this will do Prince Harry the world of good, and show him a different side to life than the luxury he is used to, so long as he gets home without being killed. Whether that homecoming is brought forward now is up to the Ministry of Defence.
