Muse - Knights Of Cydonia

This is the brilliant new video from the British prog/indie rockers Muse. It’s a great song and the video works with it perfectly. This band is amazing whether listening on CD in your house or live in a big venue, winning numerous awards over recent years. They won two MTV Europe awards, including Best Alternative Act, and a Q Award for Best Live Act. At the 2005 Brit Awards, Muse were awarded the Best Live Act award. They also participated in the Live8 concert in Paris.

This video for the current song Knights Of Cydonia has been receiving critical acclaim since first airing. The video has references to many old films, and is set up as an old Western movie. The band ran a competition for fans to see if they could correctly identify at least 15 of the references shown. The first 1000 were to win exclusive limited availability posters. Although the posters have gone, you can still play the game and see how many you can get at the Knights Of Cydonia Website.

The song is the 3rd single to be released off the album Black Holes and Revelations. The album is out now and the single is due to be released in the UK on the 27th November. Buy it!
