Last Week In The UK, No General Election Edition…
This week has been terrible for me personally as I’ve had a stinking cold, or as I like to call it ‘Man Flu’. Yes I know it’s the same thing but it makes me sound more ill than I am, and elicits more sympathy from my girlfriend.
The rest of the country has been dominated by talk of a possible general election, which now isn’t going to happen. And I really don’t care either way, as whoever gets in always turns out to be as bad as the last shower of shit who were in before. Power corrupts.

Picture Of The Week: Gordon Brown sticks his finger up at the voters
Debating: Whether Paparazzi photographers should be licensed or not
Gossiping: Pete Doherty’s alleged suicide attempt over Kate Moss
Reading: ‘Making Money’ by Discworld author Terry Pratchett
Playing: Surprise surprise it’s Halo 3 on the Xbox 360
Viewing: Old episodes of classic Sci-Fi series ‘Red Dwarf’
Watching: The decidedly average ‘I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry’
Listening: Lily Allen’s Pretenders Cover of ‘Don’t Get Me Wrong’
Searching: Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria’s fake sex tape
Learning: Fifty-seven per cent of children don’t know that haggis comes from Scotland
I knew that because the Scots are the only people with a hard enough will to eat haggis!
I’ve had a lot of people query whether this weekly list are the things that I personally have been up to, or the country as a whole. It’s a combination of the two actually: I was searching for the Eva Longoria sex tape, but I haven’t yet read ‘Making Money’ by Terry Pratchett. So now you know.
I’d love some feedback as always, so feel free to comment…
