Kylie Minogue To Star in Doctor Who

Australian pop princess and adopted Brit Kylie Minogue is to star in the Christmas special edition of Doctor Who, the BBC has confirmed today.

At the end of the 3rd series of this new incarnation of the long running British sci-fi show, we saw the Titanic break through the side of the TARDIS and we know the episose is titled ‘Voyage of the Damned’. Kylie will appear alongside David Tennant in the hour long episode to be shown on Christmas day.

The episode starts filming in Cardiff this month, and the people of the Welsh capital are sure to enjoy having Ms Minogue around long enough for her to fim her lead role.

Kylie actually started life as an actor of course, appearing in daytime soap Neighbours as mechanic Charlene Mitchell. Since then she’s had a 20 year career as a pop singer. I’ve just read that she’s 39 although she still looks about 25 to me.

I had a major crush on her for years when I was a teenager and still think she’s one of the most attractive females ever to grace Britain with her presence. I already couldn’t wait for the Dr Who Christmas special after the amazing ending to series 3, but now I know Kylie is in it, I absolutely must see it tomorrow! Unfortunately, there’s still 6 agonising months to wait.

    I love these new Doctor Who series. I am just finishing up Series 1 and am tivo-ing Series 2 from Sci-Fi!

    Yea, I’m not really a fan. Not seeing the attractive factor. But I also don’t get to watch the show seeing as how I live in the U.S. I’ll have to find them on DVD!
