Heather Mills Branded a “f**king liar”
Jonathan Ross (pictured above holding his OBE) raised a huge laugh at the Q Magazine Awards on Monday night by branding Paul McCartney’s estranged wife “a f**king liar�.
Popular British TV star Ross was presenting the music magazine awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House hotel in London when he uttered the tirade. It was his opening line to a celebrity filled star-studded audience, which included big names such as the rock band U2, Oasis songwriter Noel Gallagher, The Arctic Monkeys, Boy George and Soul music legend Smokey Robinson.
He followed it up with “I wouldn’t be surprised if we found out she’s actually got two legs�. This a reference to the former model’s accident in 1993 when after being hit by a police motorbike, she had to have a leg amputated below the knee. It didn’t stop the gathered celebrities and record company executives from erupting into laughter and then cheering the comment.
Jonathan’s joke came in the aftermath of reports stating Heather has been lying about the claims in various newspapers about the treatment she received at the hands of former Beatle Paul. There’s no sign of this saga coming to an end any time soon so stay tuned for more…

I think it’s great someone stood up and said that. I mean, there comes a point when things just start getting silly. When you have all of his close friends saying one thing and her being the only one saying another… I don’t know. I just think it’s sad when women claim abuse when there was none. (Though I can not be 100% sure. No one but the couple can.) I think women doing that takes away from people who are actually in abusive situations.

I think Jonathan Ross is great and to be fair he only said what a hell of a lot of people have been saying all week.
It’s one of those stories we’re pretty sick of now and leaking stuff to newsapers, true or otherwise is doing no-one any good.
I totally agree Jaime, if she is claiming abuse when there was none, it’s sick and will detract from real cases. Bloody funny comments though lol.
