Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Cover Art

Just to tease all you Harry Potter fans (including myself) who are already anxiously and excitedly waiting the release of the 7th book on July 21st, here is the cover art for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
In the picture above, the main image is the UK Kid’s edition cover art by Jason Cockroft, showing Harry, Hermione and Ron jumping from what looks like a treasure filled room, with fear on their faces. Also notice the dwarfish looking arm latched on to Harry, and holding a sword aloft in the air?!
The British adult edition (bottom right), shows a locket with an intricate S shape stencilled in to it. which to my mind, this can only indicate Slytherin’s locket.
Top right is the American edition by Mary Grandpre, with a confident looking Harry staring up at something far off in the sky.
Whichever edition you’ll be purchasing come July, the cover art is certainly very well drawn and makes me want to read the final installment more than ever. I can’t wait!

Interesting to see the different covers - I’m so used to seeing the US versions.
I’m a fan, but I guess not a TRUE fan since I am two books behind!
I’ll catch up soon…

Two books behind? Blimey :S
I would make sure you catch up before July as the plot of the ending will be everywhere within days of the book being released. It’ll be hard to avoid it!

[...] Witches? April 4th, 2007 by Allison With the cover for the new Harry Potter book recently being announced, the Christian masses are starting to mumble again. Of course, everyone pretty much accepts that Harry Potter is really a way of life these days, but there will still be some protester and some children deprived of the books. Why? One word–witchcraft.
