Casino Royale Theme Song By Chris Cornell

The biggest film out this weekend and one of the best of the year is the new James Bond film Casino Royale. So for all those people who went out to see it and loved the film, I thought I’d give you another chance to watch the theme song by Chris Cornell called “You Know My Name�.

It’s a cracking tune and fits the film perfectly in my opinion. Co-written and produced by Audioslave singer Chris with David Arnold (the soundtrack composer), it’s the first Bond theme to be sung by a male vocalist since 1987’s The Living Daylights and the first since 1983’s Octopussy theme to have a different title from the Bond film in which it appears. This to me completely fits in with the feeling that Bond has evolved and the series is taking a different path from old. Let’s just hope the trend continues because Casino Royale is an achievement every way you look at it.
